Easy Peasy tasty pork chops

Pork chops are one of those things you can pick up and have in the fridge or freezer for a quick and easy dinner for the family.  They are so versatile that they can be fried or baked in a casserole or chopped up for a stir fry.  I have a tasty marinade for you to try !


Here's how i do them:

  1. In pestle & mortar combine: 
  • 3 tblsp olive oil
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • pinch salt & pepper
  • chicken spices (which i picked up on a trip to Turkey) Or any flavours you fancy i.e. cajun
     2. Mix well and pour over chops to marinade for couple of hours if possible
     3. On grill pan over high heat, fry chops on one side (the pan does not need oil-there's enough in the      
         marinade) for about a minute
     4. Turn the chops and turn heat down to medium so not to burn but to cook right through

Yummy Yummy! We serve ours with buttery mash and some healthy green steamed veg !
